In the 10th year of the ÖRAV Education Festival, we once again stood shoulder to shoulder with our teachers. Since our establishment, hundreds of public institutions, private sector representatives, civil society organizations, and volunteers have come together to support teachers’ well-being. Over the years, this culture of collaboration has become one of the strongest pillars of the ÖRAV Education Festival and has evolved into a model in itself.
Across Türkiye for an entire month!
In 2024, we introduced a major innovation. Instead of limiting the Education Festival to the week of November 24, we extended it throughout the entire month of November, hosting simultaneous events every week in an average of 20 cities across Türkiye. In each city, we brought teachers together through programs designed in line with local contexts, transforming the festival into a more inclusive and widespread learning space.
Teachers took center stage, and together we inspired!
Through the events held throughout November, we supported teachers’ professional and personal development, increased their visibility, and created spaces for them to come together and inspire one another. At the same time, we highlighted the learning opportunities offered by out-of-school environments and connected teachers with different segments of society.
Rich content, a strong community!
At the 10th ÖRAV Education Festival, we delivered 563 workshops, including 9 online sessions, with the contribution of 586 workshop facilitators.
We received a total of 9,650 applications, and 8,066 teachers participated in our events.
With the support of 36 partner organizations, 107 part-time educators, along with 479 volunteer teachers and educators, contributed to the enrichment of the content as workshop facilitators or speakers. The fact that participant quotas—set according to venue capacities—were exceeded in many locations demonstrated that months of meticulous preparation had truly paid off.
