Program Objectives

This educational program is designed for those who wish to progress toward becoming individuals who feel responsible toward all humanity, care deeply about the world's problems, value the right to life of all living beings, and produce the most functional, economical, and sustainable solutions to environmental problems under current conditions. The program aims to help students and parents, through teachers, gain the belief that they can make a difference for a sustainable future, and to move from an “individual” consciousness to a “WE” consciousness by approaching people and objects with respect and empathy.

The following topics will be covered throughout the program:

  • Humans as Part of Nature
  • Our Place in Nature and Our Responsibilities
  • Our Consumption Habits and Their Impact on the World
  • Design Thinking as a Solution Method

Participants who will be included in the social learning group to be formed will also be part of a professional learning community.

Who Can Participate in the Program?

All teachers and administrators working in schools and institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education can participate in the program.

For the program to be implemented on a school basis, the majority (80%) of teachers working at the same school must participate. In addition, the training is also conducted if at least 25 teachers from the same school or surrounding schools apply on behalf of a school.

Program Duration and Schedule

The training lasts for 1 (one) full day.

Certificate of Participation

Participants who complete the program will receive a digital Certificate of Participation from ÖRAV.
