Program Objectives

This program aims to help teachers and students scientifically define the concept of “happiness” and its components, strengthen their well-being through education and other activities, and develop realistic and optimistic thinking habits that they can use throughout their lives. It is expected that through the interactions and activities experienced by individuals with high levels of personal happiness throughout the program, social interaction will increase and well-being will improve. It provides our teachers with the opportunity to learn by experiencing many tools, activities, and methods that they can use in their professional lives.

The following topics will be covered throughout the training program:

  • Happiness and the PERMA Model Conceptual Information
  • Positive Emotions Social-Emotional Learning Checklist
  • PERMA Model Components within the Scope of Positive Psychology
  • 6 Universal Values and 24 Character Traits within the Scope of Positive Psychology Applications in Education
  • Personal Goal Plan

Who Can Participate in the Program?

Teachers and school/institution administrators working in schools and institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education can participate in the program.

For the program to be implemented in schools, the majority (80%) of teachers working in the same school must participate. In addition, the training is also conducted if at least 25 teachers from the same school or surrounding schools apply on behalf of a school.

Program Duration and Schedule

The training lasts a total of 4 hours.

Certificate of Participation

Participants who complete the program will receive a digital Certificate of Participation from ÖRAV.
