European Values at School
As part of the "European Values at School" project, which is supported by the Jean Monnet Lifelong Learning Program and aims to integrate the European Union and European values into the Turkish education system, we organized workshops for primary, secondary and vocational school teachers in Istanbul.
The aim of the workshops was to provide an environment for participating teachers to exchange ideas on how fundamental values such as fundamental rights and freedoms, human rights, gender equality, pluralistic democracy, the environment and tolerance can be integrated into the education system, the importance of the education system and teachers' personal words and behaviors, and the methods that can be used to teach fundamental rights and freedoms in the classroom.
