We Were Together with Ebru Baybara Demir, One of the 10 Chefs who Inspired the World, at ÖRAV Talks!

In ÖRAV Talks this month, we hosted Ebru Baybara Demir, the first and only Turkish chef to be ranked in the top 10 in the world for two years in a row at the Basque Culinary World Prize, considered the Nobel Prize in the gastronomy world.

With Demir, who started with the dream of introducing tourism to Mardin, we had a stimulating conversation about her inspirational story of entrepreneurship including works such as From Soil to Plate Agricultural Development Cooperative, Biodegradable Waste Project, future plans and the impact of education on local economies and development.

Ebru Baybara Demir says the following phrases while sharing her successful entrepreneurial story: "I believed in change for Mardin and put behind me the people who believed in me. Me and 21 women who believed in me opened the first tourist shop in Mardin."
