Inquiry-Based Science Education

Program Objectives


Considering the increasing use of technology in our daily lives, changes are occurring in educational programs as well. Inquiry-Based Science Education is a program developed in response to these requirements. The program aims to enable students to approach problems from an interdisciplinary perspective and to gain knowledge and skills through inquiry-based methods, guided by our teachers with a holistic educational approach.


Throughout the program, the following topics will be covered:


  • STEM education

  • Use of technology in education

  • Different approaches in laboratory applications

  • Use of argumentation in science education


Additionally, participants who will be included in the social learning group to be formed will be a part of the professional learning community.


Who Can Participate in the Program?

Science and Chemistry Teachers working in state schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education can apply to the program.


Duration and Schedule

Our training program is a six-day program that continues with asynchronous and synchronous studies.


Synchronous: Synchronous sessions that require online participation at the specified time.

Asynchronous: Sessions that can be completed at any time depending on the person during the program process.


Certificate of Participation


Participants who complete the asynchronous content of the program on time and attend all synchronous sessions will be able to access the MEB Seminar Certificate digitally from their personal MEBBIS pages.

This program can be offered in MEBBIS in multiple groups and with different activity numbers synchronously. Checking the quota and application numbers indicated on the page where you apply, if the quota is full, applying to groups with different activity numbers planned for the same date will facilitate your participation in the education.
